Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made via this website by you (the customer), from us, (The Association of Ringing Teachers). 

Customer support and service

If you have a query or question, whether before or after placing an order, please contact us using the message form you can find on each order in your order history, or the general contact form you can find here.

We try to respond to all queries within 2 business days.

Acceptance of your order

We reserve the right not to accept your order at our discretion.  We may do this, if, for example

- We are unable to obtain authorisation for your credit-card payment
- You do not make payment by BACS within 5 business days of placing an order
- Shipping restrictions apply to a particular item
- We do not have stock of a particular product, or the product is withdrawn

When you place an order, we will send you confirmation of the order details of your order via email.  Details of your recent orders can be seen in the Orders section of Your Account.

We reserve the right to terminate or withdraw any order for whatever reason we see fit, without explanation to the customer.

We will notify you if we do not accept your order.

We will not be liable to you or any third party if we withdraw any products from sale.  We will, where possible, offer an alternative or replacement product if one is available.

Our acceptance of your order will only take place when we ship the product(s) ordered. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of an order does not constitute acceptance of an order.

Availability

All orders are accepted subject to stock availability.

Payment

We accept payment by BACS transfer and payment by PayPal.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the details provided by you for the purpose of ordering products from us are correct and that you have the authority to use the credit or debit card you present to us or our payment processor.

Delivery

Our shop is staffed by volunteers.  We may take up to 4 days to pick and pack your order, in addition to the time associated with your chosen shipping method.  The time expected for the delivery or your order is indicated at the checkout.

We will use the most appropriate method of despatch depending on the weight and value of your order.  This may include a courier service requiring a signature on delivery.

We will send you a confirmation email when your order is shipped.  If the order has been sent via a service which a tracked service, tracking information will be included enabling you to track the progress of your delivery online.

Bulk Orders

We may be able to offer addition discount on bulk orders.  Please contact us first before you place an order, as unfortunately discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. 

International Orders

International orders will require the payment of additional delivery costs.  ART will contact you to agree the most appropriate shipping method and any additional costs.

Statutory rights

If you are based within the European Union, and order from us by telephone or via this web site, you have the rights under the Consumer Contracts (Imformation, Cancellations and Additional Charges)Regulations 2013.  Customers within the UK also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights.

Liability

If you have notified us of a problem with the goods, we will either make up any shortage or non-delivery, replace any goods that are damaged or defective upon delivery, or refund you with the amount paid for the goods.

The limit of our liability to you in respect of any order is a sum equal to the value of the order you placed.

The Association of Ringing Teachers reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions, including product prices at any time, without notice.
